- 2 lbs grassfed ground beef
- 1 large organic sweet onion; chopped
- 3.5 – 4 cups water
- 30oz can crushed organic tomatoes
- 3 tbsp organic soy sauce
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp basil
- 2 tbsp oregano
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper to taste
- 3 cups of macaroni noodles
Brown ground
beef and onion in dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients, except the macaroni. Bring to a boil and add macaroni noodles. Return to a boil and reduce to low heat for about 30 minutes. Serve with a garnishment of mozzarella or parmesan cheese.

This WILL make a lot of food, probably enough for 2 dinners. You can freeze half for another time or just eat leftovers the next night!
This looks yummy! Going to try this tomorrow!
Hope you enjoyed this! Thanks for the comment!
Love your website! This dish looks a lot like something I make that my son calls “Mom, why can’t you just make hamburger helper” 🙂
I made this tonight and it was a hit. Next time, I will blitz some onion, celery and carrot in the food processor and saute it in the pot before browning the meat for some added flavour and goodness.
glad you liked it!!! thanks for commenting!
